Platelet-rich plasma is a blood product obtained from whole blood after centrifugation and separation, which contains a variety of large amounts of autologous growth factors and is rich in relatively high concentrations of platelets, which is essentially type-derived and concentrated platelet plasma, also known as platelet gel.
